Mini-TUGs
Mini-TUGs are external websites that are focused on specific questions or audiences. Once you are approved and added to a Mini-TUG, there are some things you need to know.
The directory is your profile. You can adjust this at any time and add deals or specials.
If you are on an enhanced to premier level, you can provide lesson(s).
Each lesson begins with a topic of your choice. The more specific the topic, the better the results you will achieve. Be specific.
Please do not be “salesy” with your information. This is the fastest way to turn off your prospective client. Teach something. Showcase how your product impacts your customer’s bottom line or improves their business. DO NOT SELL.
Each lesson includes a video. The length of the video can be up to 10 minutes long. You can use your phone, tablet, or camera to produce the video. There is no need to have a professionally produced video, however, there are a few important things.
Sound quality is important. Be sure to speak up and make it easy to hear you.
Fill the screen. Let people see your face.
Show and Tell is preferred. Show people what you want them to see.
Add a Text lesson. Many people prefer to scan text, reading over watching the video. We require at least a one-page text lesson for people to read.
Be sure to add your logo, picture, and graphics to the information you send. Our goal is to connect people to you and we want to make that easy for people. Adding this information directly on your lesson makes it easy for people to click and connect to you.
Other things you can add.
PDF Documents, these could be brochures or whatever you would like
Links to specific pages on your website. This could lead to more information such as a video on demand on your site or things such as a newsletter sign-up form.
Our goal is to connect. Showcasing your expertise is a powerful way to present yourself as a trusted resource.
You can also provide your blogs to be added to the page.
If you are a premier member, we add a customized profile page specifically for you. This is a web page that tells all about you. We can put almost anything on this page, however, remember the purpose. To position you as the trusted resource.
Finally, you can add upcoming events to drive traffic back to your specific sites.
